Mason County Historical Society's Annual Meeting

Description

The Mason County Historical Society's Annual Meeting will be Tuesday, August 4th, 2026, at the Stribling Room of the Library.

Registration starts at 6 pm.

The board meeting and elections of officers will begin at 6:30  pm.

As the Society continues the celebration of the 175th Anniversary of Fort Mason, Scott Zesch will speak on  "The Reconstruction of Fort Mason".

An assortment of commemorative articles will be available for purchase, great for gift giving!

During the brief business meeting, board positions will be filled for those wishing to serve; Vacancies due to retiring officers are to be filled for Vice President and Membership Chair

Refreshments will be provided at the meeting.

Membership renewals, new memberships and donations will be accepted at registration.
As the Mason County Historical Society relies on these funds, fund raising events and grants to maintain and operate the Mason County Museum & Annex, the Kothmanville School Museum and the Fort Mason Museum it is vital that everyone attend and support the Society's goals to collect, preserve and display the History of Mason County Texas through exhibits in said museums.
