The Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service in Mason County is dedicated to improving the lives of local residents through education, research-based information, and community outreach. Serving as a trusted resource for agriculture, natural resources, youth development, family and community health, and leadership programs, AgriLife Extension helps individuals, families, and businesses make informed decisions that strengthen our community.
Mason County Extension provides educational programs and resources in livestock production, rangeland management, wildlife stewardship, pesticide training, lawn and garden management, and health and wellness. The office also supports a strong 4-H Youth Development program that helps young people build leadership, citizenship, and life skills through hands-on learning experiences.
Working in partnership with local organizations, landowners, businesses, and community leaders, the Mason County Extension Office is committed to preserving the county’s agricultural heritage while supporting innovation, education, and economic vitality for future generations.
