Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) – Med-Surg Unit Department: Medical-Surgical/Acute Care Schedule: Full-Time/Night Shift/12-Hour Shifts Position Summary: HOTHS is seeking a compassionate and skilled LVN to join our med-surg unit. Under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, the LVN provides direct patient care, supports care coordination, and contributes to a safe and positive experience. This role is ideal for an LVN who values teamwork, patient-centered care, and the opportunity to work in a supportive hospital environment. New graduates encouraged to apply!
Key Responsibilities: • Provide direct patient care under the direction of an RN • Perform nursing assessments and report changes in patient condition • Administer medication and treatments within LVN scope of practice • Assist with admissions, discharges, and transfers • Monitor vital signs, intake/output, and patient responses to treatment • Document care accurately in the EMR • Support infection control, safety, and quality standards Qualifications: • Active LVN license
• BLS required; ACLS and PALS within 6 months of hire • Strong communication and organizational skills

Work Schedule: Rotating Schedule Night Shift 6:45pm – 7:15am 30-minute lunch break
